AED AND CPR COURSE

Half Day Course 

QNUK Level 3 Award in Responding to Incidents with an AED (RQF)


This qualification provides training in basic life support, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the safe use of an automated external defibrillator (AED).


The course combines theoretical lessons with practical training using high-quality equipment. Our top of the range ZOLL AED 3® Trainers provide clear verbal instructions that mimic operational AEDs to create a realistic rescue experience. The ZOLL AED 3® Trainers also provide real-time feedback on compression quality along with our QCPR manikins to ensure candidates are practicing effective

compressions at the correct rate and depth.


This hands-on approach is designed to give learners confidence in their skills and optimise knowledge retention to save lives. Our course is open to all individuals who wish to improve their understanding of and ability to provide life-saving care. This qualification is also suitable for staff in healthcare settings required to complete annual mandatory training. 


Requirements

  • Candidates must be at least 16 years old on the first day of the training.

  • Level 1 qualifications in literacy and numeracy (GCSE grades 3, 2 1 or D, E, F, G) or equivalent are desirable but not essential.

  • Candidates must be physically capable of providing CPR to a manikin on the floor.
